  • since 2006: trainer and consultant in Algeria, in Kenya, in Mali, Niger, Burundi and Senegal for German organisations like, bread for the world, DED/GIZ, InWEnt/GIZ, WFD, EED, AGEH, EIRENE, GTZ/GIZ and for the foundation of Rosa-Luxemburg
  • 2003-2008: Peace Consultant and Trainer for a USOFORAL (Women’s NGO) in Sénégal, under contract with the German NGO Weltfriedensdienst (WFD) 
  • 2000-2003: Trainer and Mediator in Berlin for DED, European School of Governance, Zankapfel, Trainingsoffensive
  • 1997–1999: Youth Coordinator at the Cultural Centre Villa Fohrde, Brandenburg 
  • 1994–1997: European Union Coordinator for the Solidarity and Development Association (Gesellschaft für solidarische Entwicklungszusammenarbeit GSE e.V.) for the state of Brandenburg
  • 1992-1994: Coordinator of international and cross-cultural theatre and dance projects (Thailand, New Zealand, Bolivia, Philippines) in collaboration with local NGOs

Education / Formal qualification:

  • Magister Artium (M.A.) in Cultural Anthropology and International Agriculture from the University of Göttingen
  • Year-long Social Management course in Berlin
  • Mediation Course in Berlin and France (200 hours)
  • Various trainings on conflict resolution, forum theatre, PCIA, Do No Harm, change management and coaching
  • Training in coaching 2010-2011 by Knapp/Keydel in Berlin
